Shipping Details

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the labour disruptions as of November 2024 and the ongoing Canada Post strike, we are NOT currently able to ship to PO boxes or Rural Routes. During this time, we continue to operate without disruption, promptly shipping all other orders out using alternate carriers like UPS.

In some cases for rural or more remote locations, additional shipping charges may be incurred. If this is the case, we will contact you prior to processing your order with an additional shipping quote, and give you the opportunity to change or cancel your order at this time. Thank you so much for your patience and your understanding during the Canada Post strike.

Local Doorstep Delivery
We offer free local doorstep delivery on most orders over $110 pre-tax within Victoria and most areas of Saanich. Local delivery orders are delivered between 8AM - 5PM within 2 business days (Monday-Friday) by our eco-friendly courier GeaZone, using an electric vehicle. Please include any special delivery notes at checkout and be aware that higher-value deliveries will require a signature on delivery. If your delivery address qualifies, this option will show up for you at Checkout under Shipping options. Please note that all furniture orders placed for Local Delivery will incur a delivery fee based on your address. If you place a furniture order and select Local Delivery, we will contact you with a delivery quote prior to processing your order.

Store Pick Up and/or Contactless Curbside Pick Up
All orders outside of our local delivery area can be picked up during our business hours (9:30 AM - 5 PM Mon-Sat; closed on Sundays & stat holidays), with free IN STORE pick up (or contactless CURBSIDE PICK UP if you prefer). You will receive a pick up notification once your order is ready for pick up.

Canadian Shipping
We offer shipping with our regular flat rate shipping fee (or free shipping offer over $160 on applicable items) via Canada Post. Unfortunately we are not set up to offer shipping to Quebec, Northwest Territories, Yukon or Nunavut at this time. We do not ship internationally. Please note that we also do not ship to 3rd party or freight forwarding companies. Orders placed with Local Pick Up selected (to bypass excluded delivery addresses) with requested shipping to international addresses or excluded Canadian provinces, and those placed with shipping to 3rd party or freight forwarding companies, will not be processed. Such orders will be cancelled and refunded - less any applicable processing fees from credit cards or Paypal.
For furniture, mattresses and other bulky items that are excluded from free or flat rate shipping offers, freight carrier options and quotes will be provided automatically at checkout. Please allow a few days extra for Canada Post or alternate freight carrier delivery due to the current high demand for shipping carriers.

All shipping fees incurred when sending an order out are non-refundable and all returns are done at the customer's expense. Refused shipments and shipments not picked up at shipping hubs or carrier depots are considered returns and are subject to return shipping charges. All such charges will be deducted from any applicable refund amount for returned packages.

Shipping Rates
To make things as easy as possible for our customers, we have made our shipping rates very simple. We offer free shipping for most orders of $160 or more before taxes, and $16 flat rate shipping for orders under $160 (before taxes, shipping in Canada only excluding Quebec, Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut; some exclusions apply for furniture, mattresses or bulky items like diaper pails, diaper change pads, or bathtubs, and will be listed on the product pages). Because some parts of Canada have limited delivery service and incur very high shipping charges, we are not able to offer free and flat rate shipping to all parts of the country. If this is the case for your order we will contact you as soon as possible.

Please note that furniture, mattresses, and some light-but-bulky and/or heavy items like diaper pails, diaper change pads, or bathtubs are excluded from our free and flat rate shipping offers, and/or free local delivery. Products exempt from free shipping will have this information stated on their listing - simply select free in store pick up, or the free local delivery or shipping options at Checkout if applicable. Please note that furniture and mattress orders are NOT eligible for free local delivery and will incur a delivery fee based on your address that must be processed prior to order processing and delivery.

For free local pick up in-store or curbside, or free local delivery for qualifying addresses and orders (excludes furniture & mattresses), please select this option at Checkout. Please note that furniture items will be quoted for a local delivery fee based on your shipping address following your purchase, and prior to your order being processed for delivery.

Where We Ship To
We ship to destinations across Canada, however we are not set up to ship orders to Quebec, Nunavut, Yukon or the Northwest Territories at this time. We do not ship internationally. Please note that we also do not ship to 3rd party or freight forwarding companies.

Carriers Utilized to Ship Items 
We primarily use Canada Post to deliver our orders or UPS, Canpar or Purolator for larger, oversized items like furniture and mattresses that are excluded from Canada Post shipping.

Order Turn-Around-Time
It is important to us that we ship your purchase as quickly as possible. Most items ship within 1-2 business days* and are typically delivered within 5-7 business days*.

In some instances when items are thought to be in stock but are not available, you will be notified via email or phone of the options available to you prior to your order shipping. Please note that we reserve the right not to ship any orders for any reason. If your order has a problem and cannot be shipped, we will contact you with a potential resolution.

*We ship Monday to Friday (business days), excluding statutory holidays. Shipping time to some parts of the country may be up to 9 business days.

Order Tracking
Once the order is placed a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier. At this time, we will update your order with the tracking information and email you with that information. 

Preorders and Backorders
If an item on your order is listed as a Preorder, we will ship your order as soon as it becomes available. All preorders are a final sale. If an item you purchase goes on backorder after you place your order, we will contact you to discuss options prior to processing your order.

Shipment Policy Guidelines: Accepting Your Order
In order for any product(s) purchased to qualify for return, the following shipment policy guidelines must be followed:
  1. You must be present to receive, inspect, & sign for your delivery.
  2. Before signing/receiving the package:
  • Ensure you received the correct number of packages
  • Check for any damage or problems with the package
  • Your signature indicates acceptance, and if you simply sign without inspecting the packaging or its contents, then you are accepting the shipment “as is.” Please ensure you inspect the package(s) prior to signing, including the packing slip. If there is any damage to the package(s) or missing packages, please make a note of this with the shipping company prior to accepting. If damages or shortages are not recorded the shipping company will not honour insurance claims and unfortunately our return policy will not apply.
  • Please take photos of the damaged package prior to opening and reference our Damaged Goods Return Guidelines to return the items. 
  • Immediately unpack all contents to ensure that you were shipped the correct items.  If there are any damages or shortages inside the package, they must be reported immediately (within 24 hours) using our Online Return Policy.

Returns, Cancellations and Exchanges Policy

Online Return Policy: How to return an item
Momease Baby Boutique appreciates your business and is confident you will be happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly refund or exchange unused, unopened, regular priced merchandise within 14 days of purchase (or 14 days from order arrival for shipped orders), with a receipt and all original packaging (some exceptions apply - please see Return Exceptions below for more details). To process a return, complete the following steps: 

  1. Please email hello@momease.ca with your request to return or exchange the merchandise, with an image of the receipt. 
  2. After reviewing your request, we will contact you with return authorization and instructions within 2 business days.  
  3. Mail your returned item to: Momease Baby Boutique Ltd, Unit C1 1581 Hillside Avenue, Victoria, BC V8T 2C1
  4. Be sure to include with your return a printed version of your email request and a copy of your receipt.

The cost of shipping the item back to Momease Baby Boutique will be at the purchaser’s expense. We do not refund the original shipping and handling that may have been paid on the order. Momease Baby Boutique Ltd. is not responsible for items that may have become lost, stolen or damaged in shipment.

Orders placed with Local Pick Up (to bypass excluded delivery addresses) and/or requested shipping to international addresses or excluded Canadian provinces, and those placed with shipping to 3rd party or freight forwarding companies will not be processed. Such orders will be cancelled and refunded less any applicable processing fees from credit cards or Paypal. 

Orders that are flagged as fraudulent (either by Shopify or via our fraud detection software) may not be processed and will be refunded less any applicable processing fees from credit cards or Paypal.

For any products purchased online or in-store, the following criteria must be met to be returnable: 

  1. All products must be unused, unopened, and in the original packaging.
  2. All original documents, components and accessories must be included as received.
  3. Products must be in as-new condition with no indications of use or damage. 
  4. Products must have been purchased at regular price. Sale items are a final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  5. Products must not be a special order or final sale item.
  6. Product must be eligible for return (please see Return Exceptions below).
Return Exceptions (Online and In-Store)

Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered in any way will not be accepted for return or exchange and must meet the above criteria in order to be returnable.

In addition, for safety, personal hygiene or other reasons, all car seats, strollers, baby carriers, furniture, bedding, infant loungers, mattresses, headwear, diapering products, teething & feeding items, pacifiers, swimwear, nursing products & intimates, bath & hygiene items, gift cards, previous exchanges, discounted purchases & special orders are a final sale and do not qualify for return or exchange.

For all other eligible purchases, we will gladly offer a full refund on all unused & unopened merchandise with receipt to the original form of payment, or exchange eligible gift purchases with gift receipt, within 14 days of purchase (or within 14 days of order arrival for online orders with shipping).

Damaged Goods Return Guidelines
Damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your order. Please take pictures of the damaged package prior to opening and email them immediately to hello@momease.ca and include your Order Number in the subject line. We will contact you within 2 business days of receipt to discuss a resolution.

Online Cancellation Policy
Due to our commitment to process online orders as quickly as possible, cancellation or order change requests must be submitted within 4 hours from the time of order submission. For fastest service, please consider calling to store directly for time-sensitive order changes at 778-265-5651. If emailing, please send your order cancellation or change request to admin@momease.ca and provide your Order Number in the subject line, as well as a reason for cancellation within the email. Please note that sending in a cancellation request does not mean that your order is immediately cancelled. Cancelled orders will be confirmed in writing via email. In the event that your order cannot be cancelled, please refer to the return policy.

Undeliverable Orders
In the case where an order is undeliverable or not picked up at a postal office after multiple attempts, and is then shipped back to us, shipping fees both ways will become the responsibility of the purchaser. In such a case where an order is undeliverable and is returned to us by the shipping company, the actual shipping fees both ways will be deducted from any refunds owed to the customer upon receipt of the undeliverable order, regardless of whether the order qualified for flat rate or free shipping.
